BMPO Presents THE BERKLEE POPS - A Celebration of Music in Film

Founded by Gabriela Gómez Estévez in 2015, the BERKLEE MOTION PICTURE ORCHESTRA IS A CROSS-collegiate student organisation based at BERKLEE COLLEGE OF MUSIC WITH MEMBERS FROM ITS HOME SCHOOL, the Boston Conservatory at BERKLEE, Boston University, MIT, and Northeastern University. Its prime objective is to promote and celebrate film MUSIC BY CREATING NEW LIVE PERFORMANCES THAT WILL APPEAL TO FANS AROUND BOSTON AND THE WORLD. Serving as an educational tool, the group provides a developmental space for students interested in arranging, performing, and conducting orchestral MUSIC. Previous MUSIC DIRECTORS INCLUDE MONA SEYED-Bolorforosh (2017/18) and Christian-Frédéric Bloquert (2018/19).Featuring an 80-piece orchestra and the Crepusculum Choir, the Berklee Motion Picture Orchestra's biggest concert yet will include selections from favourites such as The Hunchback Of Notre Dame, Mulan, Angels & Demons, The DaVinci Code, Phantom Thread, Star Wars Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, Monster's Inc, Stravinsky's L'oiseau de feu, Harry Potter, Princess Mononoke, Ironman, Captain America, Spider-Man, Captain Marvel, and Avengers: Endgame. Exclusive arrangements by Shayn Toothman, Arjan Singh, Vincenzo De Leon, Ollie Graham, Dan Santiago, Utsav Bhargava, Tommaso Annoni, Kevin S.
