The MTA Playwrights Lab is a collaboration between MIT students and
professional theatre artists. The Lab is a weekend-long festival of
staged readings featuring the work of the writers in the
Playwrights’ Workshop (21M.785) taught by Senior Lecturer Ken
Urban.This year’s schedule will be announced in March 2020.

patrons, late seating takes place during a pause in the program.

WHAT ARE MY TRANSPORTATION/PARKING OPTIONS FOR GETTING TO AND FROM THE

near building W97. We recommend taking the MIT Shuttle, public
transportation, ride sharing, or other sustainable forms of
transportation whenever possible.
MIT SHUTTLE:
The MIT SafeRide Campus Shuttle stops across the street from building
W97 at building W98 on Vassar St. This shuttle runs from 6pm to

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION
TAKE THE RED LINE TO THE KENDALL/MIT STOP.
_Connecting to the MIT Tech Shuttle_
Head west (away from the Longfellow Bridge) on Main St. The shuttle
stops on Main St. in front of 500 Main St, MIT building 76. Take the
Shuttle 6 stops to the W98 stop. Building W97 is just across the
street from the shuttle stop.
_Walking_
Head west (away from the Longfellow Bridge) on Main St. Turn left on
Vassar St. Building W97 will be 1 mile down Vassar St. on the right.
It is about a 25-minute walk from the Kendall/MIT stop.
TAKE THE B GREEN LINE TO THE BOSTON UNIVERSITY WEST STOP.
Walk across the Boston University Bridge, turn right on Memorial Drive
at the traffic circle, then turn left on to Vassar St, just past the
Boston university Boat House. Building W97 will be on the left.
PARKING
Metered street parking is available on Vassar St. outside the
building.
