Cambridge Carnival International Inc. is presenting its 2nd Taste of
Carnival, an in-door community festival celebrating the Caribbean and
African Diaspora and offering a 'taste' of what to expect at the
annual Caribbean festival in Cambridge. This family friendly event
will showcase Caribbean culture and pride and features cultural
performances. There will be a range Caribbean dishes available at the
different food vendors, including Jamaican and Haitian cuisine. For
entertainment the festival features arts & craft vendors, music,
dancing, a costume showcase, steel pan performances and demos, and
Caribbean storytelling. The event will take place in the Central
Square Cultural District with a proposed date of Saturday, February
29, 2020, 12-7pm for 2 sessions: 12-3pm and 4-7pm at 85 Bishop Allen
Drive, Cambridge, MA 02139. Ticket prices are discounted at $10 for
adults and children ages 12 and under will receive free admission.
Food, arts and crafts will be on sale. Attendees are encouraged to
