In the year that celebrates 250 years of resettlement in Australia,
Jane DENNIS AND HANNAH PARKER FIND THEMSELVES IN A NO MAN’s land of
self- conflict. Living and working remotely, both artists are
inextricably tied to the bush and use the landscape as their reference
point; looking in, looking out. This exhibition witnesses their desire
to push personal boundaries, to take risks, and to explore their need
to find new ways of making art. Their struggle with identity and
expression of inner turmoil is openly mapped in this eclectic
collection of works. Working with paper and cloth they explore a broad
mix of mediums, including printmaking, painting and drawing. HANNAH
AND JANE PRESENT A JIGSAW OF STRANGE DETAILS, delicately balanced with
the fabulously disturbed. Launch: 6pm, Friday 22 May Open: 9.00am –
4.30pm, Weekdays, 10am– 2.30pm Weekends Info:
