Tracy LeBlanc moved to Westford at the age of four, graduating from Westford Academy in 1987. She recalls taking pictures of friends and neighbors in Nabnasset as early as 7 years old, long before digital cameras or cell phones. Her love for Westford has been recorded through the years in her photos of the town’s trails, parades, and community events. Tracy especially has a passion for nature and wildlife and likes to capture the details one might miss in the rush of everyday life. Tracy’s work was recently on display at the Westford Regional Art Event, her first public showing.
Tracy’s three teenagers, Harrison, Trinity and Cameron, also enjoy photography. Her daughter received an Honorable Mention for her first Regional Art Event this year.
When Tracy is not photographing locally, she seeks the shores of York, Maine or the bird sanctuaries of Plum Island. She works as an EMT and a medical assistant, attends nursing school, and volunteers doing graphic/web design for several Westford non-profit organizations.
