Keep working on your 4000 footers? Or taking pictures for your next
photography competition? How about hiking East Peak Osceola and Mount
Osceola? Located, in the sandwich range, this hike is a 7.7 miles in
and out, and offers super duper great nearly 360 view of mount
Washington and Lafayette.
The difficulty of this hike relies mostly on the section between the
two summits, which is known as well as the chimney with scrambling of
rocks, steep part to go down and nearly vertical to go up the summit.
Fortunately, there will be a “secret” and safer way to by pass to
avoid that part. We will not be taking that cause whats the fun
otherwise in hiking. The summit will be granite blocks where we can
lunch break.
Do not sign up if a pace of 2 miles/hr sounds too much we will likely
be going faster than that most of the hike.
