One in a series of ASOST trainings in 2020:

Many youths in our communities have experienced trauma, the effects of which can be long-lasting and significant and create barriers to forming relationships with supportive adults. This training will introduce principles of trauma informed practices to apply in youth serving programs. With a better understanding of trauma and its impact on youth, staff can structure programming that leverages the resilience possessed by youth.
