Youth Pottery Basics - Lexington, MA 2026

Learn fundamentals for both handbuilding and wheel-throwing techniques of ceramics! This class will begin with handbuilding - with a focus on developing shape and texture with different clay bodies and glazes. In later classes, demonstrations will introduce students on how to create their own simple, consistent forms on the pottery wheel. The class will cover topics like form, texture, patterns, and glazing, while also teaching students about studio use guidelines and cooperation. Ideal for beginners, with all experience levels welcome.
