Executive Vice President of Business Development | Pinnacle Care
_Julie Donahue is the Executive Vice President of Business Development
at PinnacleCare, a Baltimore based health advisory and advocacy
service. She is responsible for strategy, business development,
marketing, product development, client services and partner
enablement. Prior to joining PinnacleCare, Julie founded 4 companies
– 2 technology companies and 2 consulting firms. The latest
consulting firm, Mainspring, was sold to IBM in 2001 – where Julie
spent 14 years. She had many roles at IBM including Global Insurance
Leader, head of strategy for Global Services and founder of the IBM
Security and Privacy services business. In the latter role, Julie
made over $5B in acquisitions, positioning IBM for long term success
in security and privacy software, hardware and services. Seven of the
14 years she spent at IBM were on international assignment including
stints in Mexico, Tokyo, Beijing and Canada. _
_Julie has served on several non-profit boards and is active with the
March of Dimes and Emerge. She has 2 sons – Sam and Mike (almost
off the payroll), and currently commutes to Baltimore from the Boston
area. She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with degrees
in Finance, Economics and History._
