Interested in GREEN BUILDING CURRICULA?Join LEED Prep teachers and
mentors for a full day of professional development* at Norfolk County
Agricultural High School from 9am-3pm. All teachers are welcome!
We'll be exploring connections between green building and climate
stability. We'll also be discussing this year's Student Innovation
Showcase, The EcoRise Ambassador Program, and the LEED Green Associate
Exam.
Thanks to Norfolk Aggie teacher Pete Kane, who will also be hosting a
tour of his net positive home that incorporates photovoltaic, solar
thermal, passive solar, super insulation, and has no furnace, boiler,
or wood stove.
SAMPLE AGENDA
* 8:30-9am: Light breakfast
* 9-9:15am: Welcome
* 9:15-10:30am: Case study #1 & LEED Green Associate Exam
preparation
* 10:30-10:45am: Break
* 10:45-11:45: Case Study #2 & LEED Green Associate Exam preparation
* 11:45am-1pm: Tour of net positive home (lunch included!)
* 1-2pm: Break-out (Student Innovation Showcase or LEED Green
Associate Exam registration)
* 2-3pm: Case Study #3 & LEED Green Associate Exam preparation
