The Vehicle Rescue Awareness & Operations – Heavy course trains responders for extricating victims from large, complex vehicle incidents (like semi-trucks, buses, or crushed cars) using heavy lifting/stabilization gear (airbags, struts, rams), hydraulic tools, and coordination with heavy wreckers meeting NFPA standards. It focuses on advanced stabilization, patient packaging, and complex extrication techniques for severe Motor Vehicle Accidents beyond typical passenger vehicle rescues. This course is IFSAC eligible.
