Raise awareness for the National Service Animals Monument by walking in honor of the work and sacrifices of service animals.
Join us at
Vietnam Veterans Park
for a fun and relaxed
Purple Poppy Walk
to honor our service animals! It all kicks off on
June 27, 2026, at 11:00 AM.
Check-in begins at 10:30 AM.
Bring your pets (please have them on a leash), friends, and good vibes for a great cause. Whether you’re walking or just hanging out, it’s a perfect way to spend the day outdoors and show support for working dogs and assistance animals to war horses, dolphins, and other services animals that played a critical role throughout U.S. history.
Don’t miss out on this awesome community event!
