Outdoor trivia at The Burren

Have fun putting your random knowledge to work.Trivia will be OUTDOORS on the rear patio. Trivia will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather. On the morning of the event I will post in the comments what I am wearing. Later I will message all who have RSVPd with information to help find us. The Burren is an Irish Pub 2 blocks from the Davis Square T Station. It has a great beer selection, better food than most Irish pubs and there are great vegetarian options! Your diversity of knowledge will enable a great evening for all. As we play trivia this diversity also makes for fun and interesting conversations. Trivia scoring is electronic; answer slips are so 2010s! However, please bring a pen and paper so pens do not need to be shared. It is useful to take notes of upcoming questions and also to discuss answers with other team members. Trivia starts at 8:00 & ends at about 10:00. Please arrive at 7:30 to eat, drink, and socialize. Please be certain to arrive by 7:30 because we might not be able to hold a seat after that. Unlike many of our other Meetups, we do not have a gift card to redeem and The Burren is happy to give out individual bills, so you do not need to bring cash. Please take the following safety measures. They may not be sufficient, other members may not observe them, and I have no control over the venue so you attend at your own risk: 1) When you arrive please wash your hands before joining the group. 2) Please only attend if you are fully vaccinated. 3) Please do not attend if you have any cold or flu like symptoms or if during the two weeks before the event you have been out of the country or have had contact with a COVID positive person. 4) Please observe all CDC and Massachusetts COVID protocols. For those driving, if there are no meters in front, try the municipal lot on Holland Street, further up Holland Street, the municipal lot on Highland Avenue next to Walgreen s or further down Highland Avenue.
