Layover: a larp about time travel

Time travel is real, but it’s a hassle.  Any individual attempting to travel through time arrives in The Terminal, an extra-dimensional waypoint set up by the Temporal Authority to protect the timeline and keep paradoxes from destroying the Universe. ------------------------- LAYOVER is an immersive role playing game designed to give players maximum control and creativity over their characters.  In a benign facility called the Terminal, run by the bureaucratic and mysterious Temporal Authority, you await permission to continue on to your final destination.  Join your fellow travelers for an average trip through the Terminal for an adventure before your adventure! ------------------------- In order to participate in this larp please be sure to follow instructions in the email after you purchase the ticket! It is crucial to do this so that we can contact you and get you set up with the survey.   FAQS ARE THERE ID OR MINIMUM AGE REQUIREMENTS TO ENTER THE EVENT? We prefer 18+. If you have any questions please contact grantoberg@gmail.com. WHAT ARE MY TRANSPORTATION/PARKING OPTIONS FOR GETTING TO AND FROM THE EVENT? The Cambridge Masonic Hall is near Porter Square in Cambridge, MA and is accessible via the Red Line at Porter Station and a short walk. There is limited parking at the venue, and overflow parking a few blocks away. Please plan accordingly.  WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE EVENT? Unfortunately we have a 0 refund policy. This is due to the amount of pre-work that is done. When you purchase a ticket to this event you are purchasing the writer's time, and once that work has begun it cannot be refactored easily for other individuals.  DO I HAVE TO BRING MY PRINTED TICKET TO THE EVENT? Nope. We will know who you are for check-in based on the pre-work that is done. CAN I UPDATE MY REGISTRATION INFORMATION? Yes! That is fine.  IS IT OK IF THE NAME ON MY TICKET OR REGISTRATION DOESN'T MATCH THE PERSON WHO ATTENDS? No. As mentioned above, a character will be written for you after you fill out a survey.
