ARE YOU FEELING OVERWHELMED BY LOSS?Everyone has had a loss at one
point or another. Even though the journey toward healing is a personal
one, the nature of grief shares a universal human experience that has
profound effect on mind, body and spirit. It is common to have trouble
focusing or feel intense sadness or anxiety. There is a tendency to
store the emotions in the body in the form of pain, insomnia, lack of
energy or even illness. Some people suffer spiritually and feel
disconnected with a loss of meaning or purpose.
Moving through loss helps you to release the thoughts, emotions and
physical sensations of grief and progress towards love, acceptance and
peace.
You will practice pranayama (breathing), yoga flows and poses, guided
relaxation (Yoga Nidra), and meditation in safe and compassionate
surroundings.
This workshop is for all who have experienced loss regardless of where
they are on their healing journey. No yoga experience necessary and
all levels are welcome. Wear comfortable clothing.
