Attendees will learn about levels of care, roles and responsibilities
of various providers (i.e. therapists, case managers, recovery
coaches), use of ASAM Criteria in determining levels of care, and how
treatment settings/levels of care impact recovery. * ALL PREVENTION
PROVIDERS AND STAFF ARE STRONGLY ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND THIS TRAINING.

Presenter, Sara L. Paxton LMSW, CAADC, CCS, Executive Director of
Recovery Allies West Michigan, has extensive experience in research,
development, and training delivery throughout the state. She has been
approved on multiple occasions for continuing education credits
through NASW, ACE, MCBAP, and medical professional boards. Prior to
becoming the Executive Director at RAWM, she had extensive experience
as a clinical supervisor, trainer, and provider in multiple levels of
care working in substance use and with children and families. This
experience provides the base for development and implementation of
trainings, along with the ability to communicate with individuals and
groups with different levels of understanding regarding substance use
and related issues.
