Drawing & Painting: Grades 6 – 8 Instructor: Lindy Shewbridge This course introduces the fundamentals of drawing and painting with emphasis on value, color, composition, scale and perspective. Beginner students will develop skills and gain confidence as they explore still life, landscape, portraits and abstraction using a variety of media including graphite, charcoal, pastels, watercolor and acrylic paint. The advanced student will be challenged as the instructor provides individual direction for each skill level.
