Join us for an evening of food, drink, fellowship and inspiration with special guest Meg Hunter-Kilmer (aka Hobo for Christ).
Take a break from the summer festivities to slow down and enjoy an evening with friends. Enjoy drinks, hors d'oeuvres, and desserts while Meg shares stories which are sure to inspire us.
A little about Meg Hunter-Kilmer: Meg has spent the last several years on the road as what she calls a "Hobo for Christ" to share the powerful story of the Gospel. She has relied solely on the Holy Spirit, traveling where she is invited and relying on the hospitality of friends and strangers alike.
From her blog: "After two degrees in theology and five years of teaching religion, I felt that God was calling me to follow him in a more literal way, so I quit my job, packed everything into my car, and hit the road. Since June 2012, I’ve been a hobo for the kingdom, traveling the country speaking to anyone who’ll listen about the goodness of God, Catholic apologetics, Christian morality, and the life of prayer."
You can learn more about her on her blog, www.piercedhands.com, or visit her on social media as @mhunterkilmer.
Tickets are $10 and include 2 drink tickets, food, and a small offering for Meg as she continues her travels this summer. If you would like to attend but cannot afford a ticket, please contact Rakhi McCormick at rakhim@guardiana.com.
