The Back2School Store supports DETROIT STUDENTS WHO ARE IN NEED OF THE APPROPRIATE SCHOOL SUPPLIES TO HELP PROVIDE THEM WITH A SUCCESSFUL SCHOOL YEAR. Our pop-up store is designed to look like a department store where each child “shops” with a personal shopper for new clothing: shirts, pants, socks, underwear, winter coat, hat, gloves and shoes. Children can also choose a new backpack, filling it with SCHOOL SUPPLIES AND PERSONAL CARE ITEMS. They are in need of VOLUNTEERS FOR THE 3 PM TIME SLOT, so we will be there as a group at that time! Sign up for a specific role on a first-come, first-served basis and choose from: Personal Shoppers, Shoe Fitters, Child Checkout Desk, and more! When you register, write “NEXTGEN DETROIT” in the comments section so that we know you are a part of our group. Online registration is closed. Walk-ins are welcome. Questions?
