The Southeast Michigan Sustainable Business Forum
[http://smsbf.org] invites your participation in a daylong conference
on sustainable business practices and TRIPLE-BOTTOM-line
(People-Profit-Planet) business strategies! The theme this year is
"THE POWER TO CHANGE THINGS." This event will see the congregation
of Southeast Michigan's business leaders come together to explore
modern issues of business sustainability. Not only will this provide
great networking, but the workshop will include plenary sessions and
three breakout tracks. SMSBF IS PROUD TO HAVE TERRY LINK as our
keynote speaker for the event. Terry is a long-time thought-leader in
Michigan; he brings more than twenty-five years of experience
advancing sustainability initiatives in Michigan. His work has led to
a number of advances, bringing resources to bear on the most pressing
issues of our day.
In his blog, “Possibilitator
[http://possibilitator.blogspot.com/]”, Terry makes a cogent
message. Terry knows the need to challenge the status quo; he’s
well-read and shares his knowledge and wisdom freely. His insights are
inspiring, far-ranging and point toward the triple bottom line of
people, planet and profit.
The workshop tracks will be built around the three BOTTOM LINES OF
PEOPLE, planet, and profit. Each workshop will provide attendees
opportunities to “connect-discover-learn”.
* PEOPLE: Business Leadership, Assessments, Ownership Models, Self
Awareness, Community Engagement, and more!
* PLANET: Circular Economy, Green Chemistry, Life Cycle Assessments,
Systems Thinking, and more!
* PROFIT: Efficiency, Quality Systems, Energy/Waste/Water,
Technology, and much more!!
A “vendor mall” will feature small local businesses that are
creating triple-bottom-line value. The event will include breakfast
foods and lunch. Sign up today and lock in your commitment to
sustainable business in Southeast Michigan!!
