This event is one of the most distinguished of its kind in the United States that honors veterans and members of all branches of the military from all over the nation.   Marine Major General James E. Livingston (USMC-RET) (SC)and President of the Medal of Honor Society will be the dynamic keynote speaker who will be accompanied by Ambassador Theodore R. Britton, Jr. ,Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Albania (GA), one of the nation’s first Black WWII Marines and recipient of the Congressional Gold Medal awarded by President Barack Obama in June, 2012.   Also, a number of other high profile community leaders will speak and receive honors during the Excellence in Leadership Awards segment of the program given to recognize outstanding community leaders for excellence in business and public service.
