The Riverfront Walking Tour series is generously sponsored by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy [http://www.detroitriverfront.org/].The DETROIT RIVERWALK, operated by the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy, is one of the city’s greatest public spaces. The Riverwalk is a promenade with multiple parks that, when finished, will extend for 5 ½ miles from The Ambassador Bridge to Belle Isle Bridge. It is anchored by Cullen Plaza which offers free parking, bike rentals, concession stands and carousel rides.   Walk alongside Detroit's beautiful international waterway, wave to Windsor and learn more about the incredible past, present and future of one of the city's most exciting projects. HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE: * Cullen Plaza * Milliken State Park * Outdoor Adventure Center * Dequindre Cut * Atwater Beach Development CHECK-IN: The tour begins promptly at 2:00 pm, please arrive 5 minutes prior to the start of the tour and check in with your guide. PARKING/GETTING THERE: We recommend the Cullen Plaza parking lot or on-street parking nearby. Use of public transporation such as the People Mover, is also encouraged as an alternative. The nearest People Mover stop is the Renaissance Center Stop. TICKETING: No need to print your ticket. Arrive a few minutes early to check-in and give the guide your name. That's it!
