Join the New Economy Initiative for High Growth Happy Hour, an event
series featuring entrepreneurs behind some of southeast Michigan's
fastest growing companies. For this talk we're partnering with Detroit
Startup Week, a free week of entrepreneurial events in Detroit. We're
excited to welcome Kim Gamez, the founder and CEO of MiPadrino, an Ann
Arbor-based crowd-funding and event-planning platform for Hispanic
cultural events that garnered a wopping 50,000 users in just 6 months
after it launched in 2017. Join us for drinks and hear from Kim about
her journey launching a rapidly growing startup in southeast
Michigan.
ABOUT OUR SPEAKER
Kim Gamez: Is a successful entrepreneur with 15 years of experience
owning and managing businesses in the U.S. and Mexico.
She launched Mi Padrino when she saw a need for a more efficient,
technology-driven solution for organizing Quinceañeras, weddings,
baptisms, and other events for the Hispanic community in the U.S. and
beyond. As a mother of 5, Kim appreciates the complexity of
coordinating all aspects of these time honored traditions with
families near and far.
Please RSVP on Eventbrite if you can join us. Space is limited for
this event. Drink specials and light appetizers will be served.
