Lenten Prayer Challenge

Hosted by the Archdiocese of DETROIT Office of Evangelization, this free PRAYER CHALLENGE BEGINS ON ASH WEDNESDAY END ENDS THE WEDNESDAY BEFORE EASTER. To sign up, text LENT20 to 84576 St. Paul exhorts us to pray without ceasing (1 Thess 5:16), and we shouldn’t wait for a crisis to pray for our spouse, children, and parents. PRAYER IS THE LIFE-breath and heartbeat of a Christian home, and it’s one of the best ways to help our family thrive. As we delve deeper in PRAYER THIS LENT, who better to pray for than our families each day? How does it work? Each day, you will receive a PRAYER PROMPT TO SAY FOR YOUR SPOUSE, children, and/or parents. In a special way, knowing the domestic Church reflects the larger Church, you will also see a PRAYER PROMPT FOR OUR PRIESTS ON FRIDAYS. We are encouraging everyone to say their PRAYER IN THE NOON HOUR EACH DAY SO THAT PEOPLE ALL OVER THE ARCHDIOCESE CAN UNITE THEIR PRAYERS FOR FAMILIES! We look forward to you joining us!
