About this EVENT Dr. King, "There comes a time when silence is betrayal.""Bullycide is Suicide" "The Stain on the Dress" "Mommy I need You" "No Justice No Peace" "Hey Beautiful" " Who are your children talking to on Social Media"? "Everyone's a Critic" On a Saturday afternoon some young friends gather to have a card party with drinks and refreshments. While waiting for the last guest to arrive the group intentionally turn on the news to find the breaking story of a child being bullied at school. After hearing the news story their back and forth banter escalates into a heated discussion. They argue about whether we have an individual and collective responsibility to advocate for the VOICES OF OTHERS LOST IN CIRCUMSTANCES OR FORGOTTEN BY SOCIETAL COMPLACENCE. It seems the VOICE OF REASON WON OUT BUT DID IT? Being friends they decide to put on a show using the universal language of Music, Poetry, and Dance to raise AWARENESS TO ISSUES LIKE BULLYING, human TRAFFICKING AND SENSELESS VIOLENCE. At the beginning of the 2nd half of the show a friend is missing. Where could he be? Can the show go on without him? Will they have to break the news to the crowd or remain silent to the end. Come be entertained and leave stirred to "Break the Silence" in your world! Come see "The RHYTHM OF THE VOICE"!
