BLACK & Old Gold SCHOLARSHIP INVITATIONAL GOLF OUTING AND DINNER ON
SATURDAY, June 6, 2020, at 1:00p.m. at the beautiful Farmington Hills
Golf Club, located at 37777 Eleven Mile Road in Farmington Hills,
Michigan. We ask for your support as a sponsor, patron or golfer.
Your contribution will greatly help the success of this event and will
support a number of local worthy causes. This golf outing is also an
excellent opportunity for you to showcase your company and network
with others. Our collective commitment to the metropolitan Detroit
area can be seen not only in the more than $450,000 in SCHOLARSHIPS
AWARDED TO MORE THAN 400 AREA STUDENTS OVER THE HISTORY OF THE GAMMA
LAMBDA EDUCATION FOUNDATION, but also in both the Gamma Lambda & Theta
Zeta Lambda chapter’s programs. These programs address issues of
at-risk families and are geared to prevent the generational cycle of
poverty, teen pregnancy, domestic violence and educational stagnation.
This year, we will once again have the Farmington Hills Golf
Professional offering golf lessons to approximately 30 sponsored
youths to instruct them on several course techniques and teach them
some valuable lessons about how golf can be a vital skill for their
future endeavors. A member of the Golf Outing Committee will call you
in the next few weeks to talk further about the benefits of supporting
us with your sponsorship commitment this year. If you have any
questions or concerns, feel free to contact James M. Thomas, Jr. at
(614) 946-5067 or mrjmtjr@gmail.com. We hope you will take the
time to contribute and participate in this excellent, fun-filled day
of golf and networking in support of this worthy cause.Golf &
