Fall in love with SOUTH STREET ALL OVER AGAIN THIS MAY 3RD, 2025, as we kick-off our famous STREET FESTIVAL, SOUTH STREET LIVE!​​ Showcasing the dynamic spirit of Philadelphia, South Street Live!  is a community rooted experience offering live performances, immersive art, local vendors, and cultural experiences that highlight what makes this commercial corridor so vibrant. From west to east, South Street Live!  programming will include: ​700 Block of South Street: Brauhaus Schmitz’s Maifest – Dance around the Maypole and enjoy live music, face painting, flower crowns, and more! 600 Block of South Street Free Comic Book Day – Free comics, live music, artists, cosplayers, vendors & surprises around every corner! 500 Block of South Street South Street Vinyl Block Party – Enjoy an afternoon of record shopping and vintage vendors! ​South Street & East Passyunk Avenue Nocturnal Takeover  – Grab your board, because Nocturnal will be popping up with an open street skate park! ​400 Block of South Street Sustainability Hub – Shop local vendors specializing in reuse, and meet leaders of the green movement! ​300 Block of South Street Artist Row – South Street is known as a historic setting for all things art! Come discover local artists, poets, and musicians. 200 Block of South Street The Cultural Hub – Join us for a showcase of creative organizations, non-profits, and local community groups from around Greater Philadelphia! ​Headhouse Plaza @ 2nd and South Streets East-side: Kentucky Derby Lane & West-side: Plaza Jawn – Enjoy pop-up food & drink from local businesses, Derby Day celebrations, live music, and more! ​100 Block of South Street Queen & Rook Fantasy Renn Faire – Live performances including swordplay and fire dancing, local vendors, renaissance faire food, and more!​
