TITLE: USING ANALYTICS TO STAY AHEAD OF THE COMPETITION
SESSION DESCRIPTION:
As product strategists aiming to launch a new product or gain market
share with a new product enhancement, it is often critical to be first
to the finish line. The risk of losing the race can be in the millions
and devastating to careers. In this session, we’ll discuss some
analytical models for using knowledge of your external environment to
understand where you are in the race with your competition, and how to
think about bets and moves you can make to stay ahead. We’ll apply
some use cases to demonstrate how organizations apply data and
analytics to continuously monitor competitive development and engage
in interactive dialog on how to use that information to respond to
threats and opportunities.
KEY TAKE AWAYS:
*
How to identify key indicators
*
Where to find the needed data
*

*
Development strategies and response adjustments
*
How to present the data and strategic response
PRESENTER: STEVE SCHULZ, CEO, LINE OF SIGHT, LLC
Steve founded Line of Sight in 2002 with a vision to help his clients
focus, protect and grow their businesses by making strategic decisions
that provide unique and better value than their COMPETITION.
Previously, he led similar research and strategy efforts within
corporate organizations. First at Deluxe Corporation, then at Jostens
