ØFemale players ages 13 and older
ØPlayers will learn ACL Injury Prevention Exercises taught by
professional physical therapists
ØThe goal is that players are educated and able to take ownership of
their strength and injury prevention program
ØExercise booklets and bands will be provided for each player
ØCoaches/parents/captains encouraged to attend (no ticket needed
to observe)

Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute, has developed an ACL Injury
Prevention/Performance Enhancement Program that incorporates existing
scientific-based knowledge about ACL injury prevention, combined with
newer information on the importance of dynamic flexibility and
hip/trunk strength and stability for prevention and performance."_
_"Such programs can reduce the risk of ACL injury from approximately
25 to 80 percent in female athletes in sports such as soccer,
basketball and volleyball."_
