Sonday System Teacher Training

If you would like to learn how to effectively help struggling readers using a Structured Literacy approach, join us for an in depth TRAINING IN THE SONDAY SYSTEM, an Orton Gillingham based curriculum for teaching reading and spelling to learners of all ages, with or without dyslexia. No prior experience in teaching is needed.A 6 hour lecture will be held at our office on a Friday from 9 am to 4 pm. We'll walk you through the system step by step and you'll have a chance to practice the techniques. We want you to start working with a student right away. We'll provide you with 4 follow-up coaching sessions either virtual or on our site. You'll work with your student and we'll observe and give you feedback and guidance. These sessions will occur every 2 weeks or so after the initial lecture. Further details are on our website. Sonday System 1 covers kindergarten through grade 2 content and is appropriate for learners of any age. Sonday System 2 covers grades 3-8 content and is appropriate for learners of any age. ***Please note***Ticket prices below include both lecture and follow up coaching but do not include Sonday System materials.
