Melrose Area Festival Of The Arts

The Melrose Area Arts Council invites you to their 2nd annual Melrose Area Festival of the Arts, an ART event that showcases our talented community.

Visual Art Display

Visit the art display for a variety of artwork of area artists, student artwork and speech performances in the meeting rooms at the Melrose City Center. Additional display located at the Freeport State Bank lobby (during business hours).

Quilt Display & Workshops

Come and see hand crafted quilts made by area artists. Monika Kraker and friends will demo a variety of projects at the Melrose Area Senior Center (in the lower level of the Melrose City Center), starting at noon on Wednesday. Karen Martinson will once again offer a Scraps of Love workshop for a hands-on experience about crumb piecing on Friday. Everyone is welcome!

Community Workshops

A variety of workshops for children and adults will be offered in Melrose and the neighboring communities. There will be Pour Painting, Cake Decorating, Porcelain Painting, and Beginner Crocheting, just to name a few.
