CLASS DESCRIPTION
This class engages learners in an interactive discussion and role-play
based workshop on the application of Motivational Interviewing
principles to the process of supervision. Practical examples of
manager/supervision conversations are used to explore the core
principles including understanding the person's motivation, listening
with empathy, and empowering the individuals concerned. It is
recommended that you take the Motivational Interviewing: Mechanics and
Processes training to prepare for this content.
