In this SEGC meeting and discussion, Jeffrey will discuss his

the Brain” when it comes to people needing services of any kind.

* Whether it be blogging, articles in outside publications,
continuing education programs, and podcasts.

* To adapt to organic shifts in one’s practice and developing
niche practices within a general practice area.
Understanding
* The importance of a personal brand within a firm of other
professionals, and also understanding when a particular marketing
initiative is not working and having the ability to decide when the
time arrives to jettison that initiative.
Jeffrey’s presentation will include numerous war stories that will
include successes and failures along the way, with the hope that his
experience can help other professionals establish their own personal
marketing and branding program.
Jeffrey’s Background
In December 2004, attorney Jeffrey, then just four years into his law
practice, joined a mid-size MINNEAPOLIS law firm as an associate with
three clients in tow.
Five years later he had started a blog and earned the moniker “The
Businessman’s Lawyer” for his niche work with startup and early
stage businesses.
Today, almost fifteen years later, Jeffrey has become one of the most
recognized attorneys in the Twin Cities, with a high profile niche
practice in craft brewery and distillery law and regular guest
appearances on several local media outlets.
