Two-time Live Ireland Awards “Best Vocalist of the Year” (and
fantastic flute player) Norah Rendell, fiddler Mary Vanorny and
guitarist Brian Miller are the Two Tap Trio. Formed in 2007 and based
in the Twin Cities, the Two Tap Trio mixes driving fiddle and flute
duets with Norah’s singing, underpinned by intricate guitar and
bouzouki backing. The trio performs at festivals and concert halls
throughout the Midwest including the Milwaukee Irish Fest, Thunder
Bay’s Canadian Celtic Celebration, North East South Dakota Celtic
Faire and Irish Fair Minnesota.
ABOUT LAKEWOOD'S MUSIC IN THE CHAPEL SERIES
Music in the Chapel is a monthly series of musical performances
curated by Lakewood Cemetery. The series features a diverse range of
artists and genres in our beautiful and historic Lakewood Chapel. One
of our city’s most beloved architectural treasures, the Lakewood
Chapel is an intimate setting that seats about 165 people. Because of
its incredible beauty and historical significance, it is a popular
place for end-of-life ceremonies, weddings, concerts, tours and other
celebrations of beauty, art and remembrance.
DOORS OPEN AT 2 P.M.
When you arrive, check in at the welcome table in the Lakewood Chapel
foyer. Seating is general admission. We invite you to arrive early and
take a self-guided tour of the chapel before the concert. Free tour
brochures will be available in the foyer.
LOCATION & PARKING IN THE CEMETERY
The Chapel is located a short distance from our main entrance at 36th
Street & Hennepin Ave. in Minneapolis. Proceed straight ahead after
you enter the front gates and look for the building with the red roof.
Signage will point the way. Parking is available along roads near the
building, including reserved spaces for handicap parking.

WHAT IS YOUR POLICY REGARDING COVID-19?
We are closely monitoring the advice of state and local health
agencies, including guidelines from the Minnesota Department of
Health. If we cancel this event, we will notify ticket holders and
issue refunds at least 3 days in advance.
WHAT ARE MY TRANSPORTATION/PARKING OPTIONS FOR GETTING TO AND FROM THE
EVENT?
Parking (free) is available along roads near the chapel inside the
cemetery, including reserved spaces for handicap parking. There is a
Metro Transit bus stop just outside of Lakewood's front gates at 36th
& Hennepin Ave. It is within walking distance to the chapel (1-2
blocks). If you come by bicycle, you can lock your bike in the racks
provided near the front gates.
WHAT CAN I BRING INTO THE EVENT?
There is a coat rack available, and you may bring water (water is also
available in the building). Please do not bring pets, food or drinks
other than water.

WHAT'S THE REFUND POLICY?
You can get a refund on your tickets up until one day before the event
date. We will refund all tickets if we cancel the event for any
reason.
DO I HAVE TO BRING MY PRINTED TICKET TO THE EVENT?
It would be helpful for you to print and bring your ticket, but we
will also have a list of ticket holders at the door.
