Description Physical fitness is the ability to fully participate in
the life have and the life you want. Exercise that supports an active
lifestyle, however, also needs to be fun, results-oriented and
purposeful so that you stick with it! Strength training is the
cornerstone to staying active in your third act because muscle mass
diminishes with inactivity starting in your late 30's? If you don't do
anything about it! This class will do something about it. Aimed at
people 55 and better, this class will use body weight and other
fitness props to strengthen muscles, build power and improve joint
mobility and stability. This six-week class is great for both those
new to strength training and those looking for a cross training
program to enhance their summer sports: biking, golfing, swimming,
hiking, running, pickleball? you name it! Because you are using your
own body weight, you will work at the pace and level that is just
right for you. I am the instructor, Mia Bremer, a 61-year old personal
trainer and balance/mobility specialist with 37 years of experience in
the fitness industry. I live in NE Minneapolis and I know that this
community is as unique as the people who live here. I am so excited to
offer this opportunity at Northeast Park. Activity Category Health &
