Youth Wrestling: 6U to 14U - Minneapolis, MN 2020

Description Internet Registration has not begun yet. Check Registration Dates in details. Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board Youth Wrestling is a recreational program. Our organized program teaches kids the basic wrestling techniques, instructs them on the rules and the importance of commitment and teamwork. Wrestling is a great sport to develop physical strength, technique, coordination and agility while participating in friendly competition. It's time to join the MPRB wrestling community! Youth must be 5 by 9/1/18 to participate in our program. 6U: 9/1/13 through 9/1/14 8U: 9/1/11 through 9/1/13 10U: 9/1/09 through 9/1/11 12U: 9/1/07 through 9/1/09 14U: 9/1/05 through 9/1/07 Practices typically begin in November. Check with your local recreation center for specific practice dates and times. Meets will be Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays at MPRB locations starting Tuesday, January 8th. Tournaments will be offered on Saturdays at varying locations. Practices will be held at Central Gym Tuesday/Thursday beginning Dec 4, 6:00-7:30pm. Activity Category Sports Location Central Gym Rec.
