30 HOUR BOAT BUILD + AFTERPARTY: Raising $30K to Celebrate 30 Years!

Urban Boatbuilders is a youth development non-profit based in St. Paul dedicated to empowering youth to succeed in work and life through woodworking and experiential learning. This year, we are celebrating 30 years of building boats and launching lives, and we invite you to join in on the celebration!

To officially kick off Urban Boatbuilders’ 30th anniversary, we are hand building an Urban Traveler Canoe in only 30 hours to raise $30,000! We invite you to support and watch the boat build in person or via livestream as alumni, founders, board members, and current apprentices build a boat together over 2 days. We will wrap up the boat build with an after party at the shop, so please join us! Perfect event for woodworking and boat enthusiasts to watch live how to build a canoe! Free and open to everyone.

Canoe Raffle: The finished canoe will be raffled off at our Untapped Potential event on October 11th. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased by contacting info@urbanboatbuilders.org. You do not have to be present to win. Raffle terms and conditions apply.
