Youth Art Festival

Join us for the 3rd Annual Youth Art Festival - a vibrant celebration of creativity and culture. This family-friendly event offers an exciting opportunity to connect with Somali traditions through hands-on, artistic education.

Kids can design their own beaded bracelets with shells at the Beading Station, explore the beauty of the Somali alphabet by painting their names in Somali script, dive into traditional crafts and songs as they weave, and gather to hear folktales and stories with Somali literature.

The day wouldn’t be complete without dance! The Somali Museum Dance Troupe will lead an interactive workshop session where everyone is invited to learn and move to the rhythms of traditional Somali dances.
