Intro to Public Speaking - January 2020

Course Details: Do you do presentations to clients, co-workers, or leaders? Do you feel you can polish your skills, or do you feel you fumble on your feet?  Join us in learning how to communicate better through speeches and presentations.  This is a 6-week course (1 hour a week) that will teach participants how to use your strong speaking skills convey a strong message and memorable message to your audience.  The event is EVERY WEDNESDAY from 1/15/2020 - 2/19/2020. Week 1:  Selecting a speech topic, and how to organize a speech Week 2:  Introducing a speaker, and Speech Purposes Week 3:  Body Language Week 4:  Vocal Variety Week 5:  Word Use Week 6:  Graduation Celebration! Our Toastmasters club is a learning environment, where all members are part of the learning process, and are at many different levels of speaking. We are presenting this six-week session for only $20, since this does help our members and students become better speakers.  Location: 11100 Wayzata Blvd, Minnetonka, MN 55305 (NE Corner of 394/Hopkins Crossroads) When entering the building you may walk towards the back, take right after the elevator bank, and follow down to the last room on the left.   These meetings are being put on by Ah Busters Toastmasters Club VP of Education: Marvel Kummer, Distinguished Toastmaster Please register through this Eventbrite and plan to attend all 6 sessions, if possible.
