The Safe SPACE TRAINING EDUCATES ST. Cloud State people and builds a
network of allies who are knowledgeable and supportive of the LGBT+
community. The TRAINING TACKLES QUEER AND TRANS
IDENTITY/issues and strategies for creating safe, inclusive and
supportive environments.After completing the training, participants
receive a "Safe Space" sign to display in their offices. By displaying
this sign, it shows one is committed to establishing an environment of
solidarity and working to combat prejudice and discrimination towards
LGBT+ folk.
