Communications and convening have moved from IRL (in real life) to
online. How confident are you when it comes to showing up in these
spaces, using social media, tools and technology, and crafting the
right message?For many companies, organizations and invididuals that
have relied heavily on in-person connections, having a presence and
figuring out what to say online, especially in our new ever-shfiting
normal, is a bit dauntting.
During this workshop, I’ll break down social media as one activity
in a continuum of communications and relationships. I'll show you how
to create content infused by your purpose and passion and sharing of
every day relationships and engagements can make social media feel
doable and valued.
This workshop is less about using social media posting tools and
tactics and more about finding your social media why and connecting it
to appropriate messaging now and into the future. No more posting in
the dark without a plan. Based on the samples I’ll share, you’ll
have a template for a new plan with a bulit-in ability to pivot.
We’ll also have a larger discussion around barriers and what holds
us back from hitting “send.”
You’ll walk away with ways to frame your own expectations around the
value of social media. Most importantly, you’ll have a toolkit of
ways you can connect your experiences, expertise and passions and use
social media in meaningful ways. Together, let's create
