been serving up award-winning Greek fare for 40 years, and was
recently named one of St. Louis's best classic restaurants by the
Riverfront Times.
Voted the best gyro in town consistently each year, Olympia Kebob
House & Taverna has also been home to some of the best authentic Greek
food in town for the past 35 years. They are stocked with a full bar
and open patio reminiscent of an authentic European Greek restaurant.
An expansion a couple of years ago transformed this longtime purveyor
of pastitsio, moussaka, dolmades, baklava and other Greek favorites
from relatively small and cozy too, well, Olympian. Great gyros and
fabulously potent Greek coffee, and be sure to try the rice pudding
when it’s available.
