Bring your little ghouls and goblins for a non-scary, kid-friendly
Halloween experience. Children are encouraged to wear
costumes. Children 12 and under will receive a treat bag upon
exiting. Boo at the Zoo is not a trick-or-treating experience. Take a
break from the Halloween action at the kids’ game area behind
Stingrays at Caribbean Cove presented by SSM Health. Play games
like limbo, Halloween-themed bean bag toss, tic-tac-toe and more.
Find educational activity stations around the Zoo and learn about
some of the Zoo’s creepier animals! Get pumped for
some spooktacular nightly entertainment acts! Shows are offered
at 6:30 and 7:30 p.m.inside the Sea Lion Sound arena and
are FREE with paid admission to Boo at the Zoo. Visitors are
encouraged to get into the Halloween spirit and dress up for this
event. However, the Zoo is a family-friendly place, and we have
policies in place so little ones don’t go “boo-hoo” at Boo at
the Zoo: Scary costumes are not permitted Facial features on guests
age 13 and older must be recognizable (no masks, no face paint that
completely conceals the face) Costume appropriateness is up to the
