Data analytics can help companies increase revenue, reduce costs and
uncover new business opportunities. However, an effective analytics
program requires specific technical skills and sophisticated tools.
Many non-profit organizations shy away from data analytics because
they are unsure where to begin or what value it brings to the
organization. Others see the value but lack expertise and resources
needed to conduct meaningful data analysis. The data analytics
workshops for non-profits will address these common concerns. It
begins with a primer that outlines the fundamental components and
benefits of a data analytics program. Next, participants will be
introduced to state-of-the-art tools, applications and projects
relevant to non-profits. The workshop concludes with insights on how
non-profits can start reaping the benefits of data analytics in their
own organizations. Participants will also have the opportunity for
hands-on data interaction in the Edward Jones Data Analytics Lab.
