Criteria for successful completion include attendance at the entire
session, satisfactory score on written exam, demonstration of
proficiency at skills, and submission of completed evaluation form.
Community Medical Center is an approved provider of continuing
nursing education by Montana Nurses Association, an accredited
approver with distinction by the American Nurses Credentialing
Center's Commission on Accreditation. There is no conflict of
interest for anyone in a position to control the content of this
activity. This two-day course is designed to provide a concise
guideline of the neonatal pre-transport stabilization activities to be
employed by community hospital caregivers, in a format that optimizes
retention and recall of those activities. A “hands-on” skills lab
has been included and the class has been divided into two 5-hour
days. The course is meant to be renewed every 2 years. Provides
12.25 contact hours. Dress Code: CMC employees are expected to comply
with the CMC dress code for all orientations, trainings, and events
