Master the 36 aromas of Le Nez du Cafe! This workshop will break down the kit into 4 categories and learn each of their roles in coffee
Le Nez Du Cafe kit is organized into 4 distinct categories; Enzymatic, Sugar Browning, Dry Distillation, and Aromatic Taints. Although these are not an exhaustive list of aromas, each of the sections include 9 aromas to identify the general characteristics within each of the categories.
Each participant will work through the entire kit over the course of the class, with breaks and discussion between each category to reset your senses and gain a better understanding of how these aromas relate to coffee.
What will happen during our 90 minutes together?
You will be given (3) sets of (3) aromatics, organized to pair the most challenging and similar aromatics within each of the (4) categories, to help fine tune your senses. Once you have completed the first exercise with 10 minutes alloted, you will have another chance to re-pair any mistakes before moving onto the next catergory. This allows 20 minutes per section, 80 minutes total, with an additional 10-20 minutes for discussion before and after the exercise.
What should I know before signing up?
The class size is limited to 4 people. As the first section fills, the next section will be scheduled to accommodate demand.
This class is designed for those who already have familiarity with how the Le Nez Du Cafe kit works, and the basics to coffee sensory.
