The 15th-annual Lincoln Calling music festival, presented by Allo and Evol Empire, returns with its mission to create Lincoln’s most diverse, inclusive, sustainable cultural event, with initial lineup announced April 16.

In 2018 the festival will include: a Night Market (featuring vendors, makers, artists and Lincoln job opportunities), Wellness Activities and Education, Make Lincoln (maker’s fair), and artist/professional development workshops! Sustainability continues to be a priority, with conscious decisions around the festival's transportation options, energy sources, and waste streams.

Ticketing Policies

  • All ticket and pass sales are final. No refunds, cancellations or exchanges.

  • All acts and performers are subject to change without notice. Artist cancellation is not grounds for a refund.

  • Once you purchase, you will receive an order confirmation email from Eventbrite on behalf of Lincoln Calling Music Festival. IMPORTANT: If you do not see your order confirmation in your inbox, make sure to check your junk/spam folder. If you still do not see your order confirmation, click here to access the Eventbrite help center.

  • Your actual ticket will be available to download in your Eventbrite account within 24 hours after purchase. You will be notified via the email address used at checkout when they are available.

  • The attendee who’s name is on the ticket MUST be present at check-in.

  • Lost or stolen passes cannot be replaced.

  • Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.

  • Quantities of all tickets and passes are limited.

  • Concerts are subject to all legally-enforced establishment closing hours and age-related curfews

  • Admission to venues is based on legal capacity and age.

  • Entrance to venues is limited for those under the age of 21 — Age restrictions are as follows: The BAY (AA); Bodega’s Alley (21+); The Bourbon (AA); Duffy’s indoor (21+); Duffy’s Backlot (18+); Night Market (AA); Bar 1867 (21+); Zoo Bar (21+).

  • Lincoln Calling Music Fest is a rain-or-shine event.

  • Ticket user bears all risks of personal injury incidental to the event, whether occurring before, during or after the event.

  • Ticket user bears all risks, including cancellation of the event, or any parts of the event, due to inclement or dangerous weather, Acts of God or other reasons. Lincoln Calling Music Festival reserves the right to cancel the event, or any parts of the event, in circumstances Lincoln Calling Music Festival deems unsafe for ticket holders or musicians. In case of such a cancellation, tickets will not be refunded.

  • Ticket user gives permission to Lincoln Calling Music Festival and Hear Nebraska to use his/her image or likeness incidental to any video display, transmission or recording of the event.

  • All passes & wristbands must be picked up with ID and ticket upon arrival at Lincoln Calling Music Festival in Tower Square before attending any Lincoln Calling Music Festival show.

  • All wristbands must be worn securely and are non-transferable and non-replaceable.

  • Lincoln Calling Music Festival and all of their venue partners reserves the right without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price to refuse admission or to eject any person who fails to comply with the rules of the venue, local, state or federal law or whose conduct is deemed illegal, disorderly or offensive by Lincoln Calling Music Festival.

  • Passholders are subject to the rules and regulations of any venue they attend as part of the festival. The management of each venue reserves the right to remove any person who violates the rules of the venue or any local, state, or federal laws.

Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?

Lincoln Calling is an all-ages festival, but there are age restrictions on certain venues. Everyone, regardless of age, should carry a valid, government issued ID with them throughout the festival. Age restrictions by venue are as follows: Bodega’s Alley (21+); Duffy’s indoor (21+); Duffy’s Backlot (19+); Night Market (19+); Bar 1867 (21+); Zoo Bar (21+).

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?

There are many street and garage parking options.

What can I bring into the event?

Attendees must follow the rules and policies of each club, venue and bar. Generally, it is OK to bring the following:
  • small personal bags such as purses or waist bags (subject to be searched)

  • empty water containers (may be filled with water once in the venue)

  • small point-and-shoot cameras (anything that does not have a detachable lense)

  • sunscreen

  • hats

  • earplugs

  • phone charger

  • valid government-issued ID for check-in and age verification at venues

  • comfortable shoes

  • a positive attitude

It is NOT OK to bring the following:
  • weapons of any kind (regardless of any permits you might possess). Lincoln Calling or venue staff reserves the right to deem anything they feel is dangerous a weapon. There will be ample security throughout the festival.

  • alcohol of any kind (alcohol will be served at almost every venue, bring an ID!)

  • professional still camera equipment (detachable lenses, tripods, big zooms, commercial-use rigs)

  • audio or video recording equipment

  • lawn chairs

  • spray bottles

  • glow sticks

  • hoola hoops

  • backpacks, camelbaks or oversized purses

  • pets

  • fireworks/explosives

  • Illegal substances

  • coolers

  • glass containers of any kind

  • instruments

  • nunchucks (those are a weapon, dude!)

  • chains/chain wallets

  • selfie sticks

  • laser pointers

  • drones

  • no illegal vending is permitted. No unauthorized/unlicensed vendors allowed.

What's the refund policy?

All ticket and pass sales are final. No refunds, cancellations or exchanges.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Your printed ticket is not necessary as long as we are able to scan your ticket barcode on your smartphone.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Tickets for this festival are not transferrable. If you are buying tickets for someone else, you should use their name and email when checking out to ensure entry.

Is the festival accessible to people with disabilities?

All music venues, bars and clubs participating in Lincoln Calling are ADA accessible.

When is the performance schedule released?

The performance schedule will be released in early September. If you want to be notified right away once the schedule is released, be sure to sign up for our mailing list. Artist lineup and schedule is subject to change without notice at any time.

What happens if it rains?

You will get wet as you walk from venue to venue. Lincoln Calling Music Festival is a rain-or-shine event.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

The attendee who’s name is on the ticket MUST be present at check-in. Be sure to have your valid, government issued ID handy to verify your identity. No exceptions will be made.
