Prescription Drug Collection

RSVP Volunteers are helping at the PRESCRIPTION DRUG COLLECTION TODAY. Community Connections is offering a drug disposal program at the PLATTE RIVER MALL today from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. This program is an excellent way to dispose of all your PRESCRIPTIONS AND OVER THE COUNTER MEDICATIONS THAT ARE EXPIRED OR NO LONGER NEEDED. The medications are turned over to the NEBRASKA State Patrol who destroys them in an environmentally friendly manner. In partnership with Keep North Platte Lincoln County Beautiful the bottles and other packaging are recycled. This event is held the 3rd Saturday of each month.The North Platte Area Ready to Serve Volunteer Program (RSVP) is open to volunteers of all ages.
