Bird Walk - Carson City, NV 2025

Description Join a Park Ranger on a birding adventure along the Carson River! Whether you are an avid birder, or an outdoor enthusiast interested in local bird species, this hike will be an exciting experience for the whole family. We recommend bringing water, snacks, binoculars, or scope. The trail is considered "easy" according the IMBA Trail Rating System. Expect flat terrain and minimal obstacles for about 3 miles. Date: Sunday, April 27, 2025 Time: 8:30AM - 11:00AM Location: Carson River Park Need to Know: - Online registration is required - Dress appropriate for the weather - Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult - No dogs allowed, as they might scare away the birds - If you or a family member needs it, Park Rangers has one Grit Freedom all-terrain wheelchair available.
