"We invite you to an intimate wine dinner in the Private Room at Garagiste Wine Room | Merchant.  Enjoy a 3-course menu created by Chef Justin Hall of Main St. Provisions paired with 3 wines by Garagiste Owners/Sommeliers, Eric & Mario.  Influenced by Chef Justin's childhood in the Central Coast of California, each course will have components prepared in Main St. Provisions' wood-fired oven as it's wheeled the short block over to Garagiste.  Guests will have 1 hour to eat, drink, and learn about the ingredients of each course and the ideas behind the wine selections from Chef and Sommeliers." 1st Course Main St Tasso Ham American caviar country gravy, goat milk drop biscuit from the charcoal oven Paired with 2018 Matthias Hager Sparkling Gruner Veltliner, Austria 2nd Course Charcoal Roasted Shellfish cider broth, celery root creamer potato Paired with 2018 Diatom 'Bar-M' Chardonnay by Greg Brewer, Santa Maria County AVA, CA (Family Style) SLO-Rubbed Vintage Tri-tip, chicken fat wild rice pilaf, baked Red Island peas, For Ernie's Birds salad Paired with 2016 Ex Post Facto Syrah by Greg Brewer, Santa Barbara County AVA, CA
